Palak Chicken

Ingredients:
1Chicken
1 bundle Spinach
2 Medium Tomatoes
2 MediumOnion
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
4-5 Green chillies
1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Chana Masala Powder
Sugar
Salt to taste
Oil
Method:
1. Separate the palak leaves from the stalk and wash them
2. Heat a pan and add palak leaves to it. Cook till the palak becomes soft. After palak is cooked, cool the mixture and blend it till it becomes a paste.
3. Fry the onions and Garlic paste in oil till light brown, add the chicken peices some salt and cook till chicken is half done.
4. Add some turmeric powder, coriander powder, chana masala powder and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add the palak paste and stir well.
6. Make a puree of the tomatoes in a blender and add the green chillies in the blender too.
7. Add the tomato-chillies paste to the palak- chicken mixture. Stir Well and serve.
Cooking Tips
Add Salt while frying onions so that the onion fry quicker

Surmai Fish Masala 1

Ingredients :
500 gms fish, cut into medium pieces
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 onions, chopped finely
1 tomato, chopped finely
1/2 cup tomato pulp
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cummin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
3 tbsp oilSalt as per taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
1/4 cup grated coconut
Method :Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion till it turns golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer for another 3 minutes. Add pulp and all the powders and salt. Cook till oil gets separated. Add 1 cup water. Add fish and cook till fish is cooked properly. Take in a bowl. Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves. Ready to serve.

Button Mushroom Curry

Ingredients
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
few ocurry leaves
1/4 tsp turmuric powder
1 tsp garam masala/chicken masala
14 number Mushrooms
6 tbsp oil
2 number onions
Salt to taste
2 number tomatoes

Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Cut tomatoes into small cubes. Cut onions and finely chop coriander leaves. Take a pan, heat oil. Add jeera, when they splutter, add onions and saute them till they become soft. Add turmeric pdr, curry leaves and tomatoes. Cook tomatoes till they are mashed softly and a thick gravy forms. Add garam masala, coriander pdr, chilli powder and fry for 30 seconds. Add the cut mushrooms to this gravy and cook for 15 min. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or chapathi. It tastes good with vegetable pulao
